Kevin McAfferty

Kevin is an Emmy Award winning Director of Photography and Producer with extensive broadcast and media experience. Kevin has spearheaded several independent film and broadcast startups, including Mobile Video Productions in 1988 where he has been a leading factor behind their strong reputation. Kevin applied his seasoned understanding of market growth analysis in the broadcast world with comprehensive knowledge of current and emerging media technologies to form Kindle Creative in 2010.

 

Starting at the forefront of broadcast cable expansion of the 1980s Kevin oversaw the development of many national brands’ syndicated programming which have become institutions in the modern broadcast landscape. These include Portraits of America with Hal Holbrook, A Current Affair, 20/20, Real Life with Jane Pauley, Day & Date, The System Court TV, Fox Files, and ESPN Classic.

Kevin has worked on over 10 films including Foreign Exchange, Eastwood Directs: The Untold Story, Jeff Ross Roasts Criminals: Live at Brazos County Jail, The Mentalist, and Ali-Frazier I: One Nation…Divisible. Kevin has also worked on over 730 TV episodes including The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Penn & Teller: Bullshit!, America’s Most Wanted, and Repo Men: Stealing for a Living. Kevin created and developed the story and will be the producer for the feature film TRUE NATURE. He will also be the Production Manager or Director of Photography for each film in the slate.
